These pages document a log rotation daemon. The notes are kept in step with the working tree rather than with a tagged release, so they describe intended behaviour first and edge cases second.

Configuration

Settings are read from a single plain text file at start-up. Unknown keys are ignored with a warning, and defaults are written back to the log so the effective configuration is visible.
